Overview

Officine Gullo was founded in Florence, Italy, where Carmelo Gullo honed bespoke kitchens and accessories inherited from the finest nineteenth-century Florentine cooking traditions, in partnership with local mechanical workshops and bronze artisans, shaping noble metals such as high-thickness steel, burnished copper, cast iron and brass. Officine Gullo kitchens have always shone with their handcrafted, prestigious metal finishes. 

Today, Officine Gullo owns single-brand showrooms in major international cities and design capitals. imbued with artisanal and technological innovation, and create according to traditional Florentine 

Brief and Concept

In response to this precious cultural asset of Officine Gullo, a design concept of a bank vault was proposed as the entrance of the kitchen showroom. Entering the kitchen showroom, by open the highly secured safe door, revealing the gold vault inside is an adventurous journey that we would like our client to experience. Keeping the product inside the bank vault, the most secure place, to present the prestigious value of the brand. For usage wise, a spacious space is provided to display a kitchen and island with full appliances and equipment in the showroom. They would like to provide their clients with a lively experience of these kitchen sets in daily use. 

Elements

The signature - bank vault door replica was made dramatically in 1:1 full scale for the entrance of the inner showroom. The safe deposit boxes are another element that integrated into the design which is easily associated with the bank vault. The safe deposit boxes elements are applied to be built as a feature wall which served as sample demonstration and storage. 

Entering the showroom, single-row kitchen cabinet, making everything clear at a glance. The shining polished stainless steel edge profile of Officine Gullo was highlighted by the spotlight, revealing the exclusively with noble metals such as brass, copper, and steel according to traditional Florentine craftsmanship. The interior furnished by simple geometrical form and material in understated luxurious, the sparking Gullo itself had been splendidly highlighted to make clients focused and concentrated on the product in the space. Adopting the infinity mirror ceiling visually increased the headroom height to deliver a bright and spacious Officine Gullo kitchen.
