WAVE WHISPER designed by Kris Lin International Design (China)

Project Background:

Located in the heart of Ningbo, this project aims to create a world-class riverside cultural and creative industry space in WenChuang Port. Serving as a public space for the city's trendy culture center, the first floor features a trendy culture display area, while the second floor houses an art exhibition area and a riverside coffee bar, integrating cultural display and leisure into one.

Originality and Creativity:

The design is inspired by the flow of the Yong River, with fluid lines and dynamic shapes giving the space layout a vivid exterior characteristic. This design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the building but also cleverly integrates natural elements into the space, creating a layered and cozy social venue.

Exterior:

The exterior design of the project skillfully combines natural elements and modern culture, with building lines and curves mimicking the flow of the river blending harmoniously with the surrounding environment, creating a dynamic and coherent visual effect. The interior space incorporates trendy culture elements like BEAR BRICK bears and KAWS figures, adding an artistic atmosphere and creating an engaging visual and cultural experience.

Constructibility:

Considering the modern demand for multifunctionality and adaptability of spaces, the design includes a flexible internal structure to accommodate different activities and functional needs, such as transformable exhibition spaces and multipurpose coffee areas. In terms of construction, modular and prefabricated components are used to enhance construction efficiency and quality, reduce costs, and ensure precise realization of the design. This choice of construction method takes into account economic benefits and reflects adaptability to the rapidly changing pace of modern life.

 Commercial Value:

As a cultural and entertainment center, the project will attract tourists and local residents. By integrating trendy culture elements like BEAR BRICK bears and KAWS figures, the space's artistic quality is enhanced, creating a unique cultural experience that promotes a combination of entertainment and creativity.

Sustainability:

The project not only offers multifunctional experience zones but is also committed to sustainable development. It uses environmentally friendly materials and energy-saving technologies to reduce environmental impact, while the design encourages cultural participation and environmental awareness, promoting sustainable economic development of the community and achieving a harmonious coexistence of environmental, social, and economic aspects.
