D.A.Consortium Niigata Office PJ designed by KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Japan)
The expansion and relocation would create many new jobs, and the local community had high expectations for the opening of the new office. Therefore, it was necessary to express in the office space that although the company is based in Tokyo, it should blend in and be accepted in Niigata. The entrance was designed with a sake barrel motif, a snow peak tent from Niigata, and wall art created from sketches drawn by an artist on a trip to Niigata, all of which speak to both employees and visitors alike.
Sustainability:
This project was an expansion and relocation of the existing Niigata office, 98% of the furniture and fixtures were converted during the relocation.
Sangetsu carpet, winner of the Sustainability Site Award 2022 Bronze (Excellent Award), was used.
