Nanshan Fangniu Village is located in the northern part of Nanshan Scenic Area in Chongqing, with a good natural ecological environment and rich historical and cultural resources. The main industries of Fangniu Village are flowers, seedlings, and rural tourism, with multiple leisure agricultural parks and homestay clusters. As a typical rural tourism demonstration village, we hope to effectively improve the rural environment, enhance the quality of rural life, and promote the development of rural tourism industry through locally tailored micro renewal design.
By analyzing the local culture, ecological resources, and industrial structure of the cattle herding village, the design focuses on humanities and art. Taking art and humanities as the core, re creating, redeveloping, and reusing local elements, combining art with nature, culture with tourism, and creating a unique and attractive rural tourism destination. Using art as the driving force for future tourism, injecting new cultural elements and vitality into rural development.
The design revolves around the theme of "Art in Nanshan, Cowherd is Art", using modern visual language to re-depict the local background, carry out important node transformation and image enhancement, bring comfortable contrastive conflicts and rich changes, and create a seamless connection between the art world and hometown life in the mountain and wilderness international art village.
On the premise of protecting the natural ecological environment, continuing the texture characteristics of the village, and inheriting the cultural resources of the village, incorporating the integration and creation of art, and using micro updates and light interventions to artistically process and add new functions to the infrastructure of the cattle herding village. The design takes the "cow culture" and "three cow spirit" of the cattle herding village as the core, combined with Picasso's minimalist expression, to create a brand image with international aesthetics. Based on this, introduce brand image, signage, cultural atmosphere installations, functional supporting facilities, forest fire prevention structures, and other content into the village to create a unique brand of cattle herding cultural tourism.
