AMADA GLOBAL INNOVATION CENTER designed by NOMURA Co., Ltd. (Japan)

A global innovation center of a manufacturer that sells and develops metal processing technology and processing equipment. We will let you feel the passion for "building bonds with customers and manufacturing that contributes to society" that has been passed down from generation to generation since the founding of the company and imagine the possibilities of the future. The facility was built not only as a place to exhibit products and experience the technology, but also as a place to convey the "spirit of manufacturing" and to convey "the value that metal processing technology brings to the world" as a main place. By developing metal processing technology as a design element and incorporating it into "architecture", "interior", "fixtures", "signs", etc., we have realized an innovation center that provides "a unique experience that can only be found here".

Various environmental conservation plans are discussed with customers in renovating facilities with various functions such as "brand appeal", "exhibition and sales of actual machines", "internal and external events and training", "meetings", "research and development", "office" and "lounge". The team of architecture, interior design, and exhibition direction worked together to make it happen. This facility introduces energy-saving products and software that can monitor the environmental load of the entire factory. The construction, interior and equipment are likened to a state-of-the-art environmentally friendly building, and CO2 emissions are reduced by 50% compared to the building before renovation and similar conventional facilities. Visitors will be able to experience Amada's models of eco-friendly facilities in real space as a set. Amada's environmental conservation measures aim for the entire facility, including optimal control of lighting and air conditioning using an AI recognition system, monitoring of the environmental load of the entire facility, solar power generation, etc., and a well-balanced use of recycled materials and economic dimensions. We aim to provide solutions that solve the on-site issues of visitors and management issues.
