"toto" and "BIG" are lotteries that predict the outcome of a specific game, mainly in a professional soccer league in Japan, and if your result is correct, you win money.
These are called "sports lottery" and it originally started to secure financial revenues for Japanese sports promotion. It is familiar to soccer fans. The money collected by this "sports lottery" is used not only for soccer, but to support all sports games and facilities, and also for training athletes in Japan. It has an important role in the development of sports in Japan.
However, previously "sports lottery" had a strong image of gambling since you bet on matches and win money, so it was hard to earn people’s understandings and that made it hard to move forward.
In order to overcome this problem, we held an event to earn people’s understandings, to buy lotteries means financial resource for sports (it is a support of cheering and financial resource), and named it "YELL” is Power “Sports Lottery connects, A New Way to Support Exhibition”.
With the concept "Yell is Power, that voice becomes the power", we held an interactive event which was to earn the understanding of children through adults. By enjoying and having fun through various attractions and exhibitions, we wanted them to understand that income from the sports lottery supports all kinds of sports as a subsidy.
At the venue, there were a total of 4 booths where you can experience the joy to support sports.
“Digital Yell Machine”: digital content where players inside the screen run according to the voice volume of yell.
” Yell Capsule Toy Machine”：one part of yell (coin) converts into financial subsidy (capsule).
“Yell Pinball Machine”：experience investing in several supporting facilities.
“Yell Running Machine”：experience the feeling of a player receiving yell by actually running in the field while listening to yell with a headphone.
In two days, approximately 2,000 people participated in the event, and we were able to expand how this structure of sports lottery works to people who didn’t have the chance to know.
