Located in Gubei, the "Little United Nations" in Shanghai, the project has a magic, magnificent, dreamy, and poetic context. The refurbishment restores the most natural state of condition with respects for existing building. By enhancing the space atmosphere through scene and functional arrangement, a new chapter belonging to the family is created.
Harbour Home designed by LAAB Architects
The layout of the 62 sqm apartment is overhauled to make the panoramic harbour view visible to the entire apartment. The oak ceiling is draped to conceal the misaligned beams, softening the otherwise rigid rectilinear living room. To curate a sense of oneness, sliding screens are used to open up all rooms.
MUJI Style designed by TWM Design
The client just returned from Japan and prefers the Japanese style. Given this, the design team took wood grain and white for the material and color tone, supplemented by a design approach of equal density. The entire space is well planned to restore the comfortable scale, making the interior comfortable and functional, and balanced. Under the harmonious visual effect, the Japanese house of MUJI style is realized.
To My Love designed by WONDER INTERIOR DESIGN
The project serves a couple. It is their first home, with their preferred elements of simplicity and lines. In addition, they expect an open-plan public area. The designer took a modern, minimalist style with a functional design to form a comfortable home for the couple.
Skyrim designed by NISSO Design
The client is a 65-year-old couple who has lived in the United States for a long time and returns to Taiwan occasionally. Their desired style is American minimalist, calm and casual, with plenty of storage.
