The refurbishment restores the most natural state of condition with respects for existing building. By enhancing the space atmosphere through scene and functional arrangement, a new chapter belonging to the family is created.

The layout of the 62 sqm apartment is overhauled to make the panoramic harbour view visible to the entire apartment. The oak ceiling is draped to conceal the misaligned beams, softening the otherwise rigid rectilinear living room. To curate a sense of oneness, sliding screens are used to open up all rooms.

The spacious and comfortable horizontal hall allows you to enjoy the noble experience of returning home. The layout allows the space to grow continuously with the needs of family members. The space is rich and diverse layered, offering the exclusive feeling, and leading the international lifestyle.

Upon entering the room, guests are greeted by a white slate staircase and a pedestal that leads down to a feature wall. A black wood feature wall creates a calm atmosphere reminiscent of Zen architecture.

The project serves a couple. It is their first home, with their preferred elements of simplicity and lines. In addition, they expect an open-plan public area. The designer took a modern, minimalist style with a functional design to form a comfortable home for the couple.
